Sharon Woolf first made a major impact as the vocalist on the UK No. 1 and platinum worldwide hit “Sweet Like Chocolate”.  This followed another major single “Straight From The Heart” which was a hit when first released, reaching number 20 in the UK charts and then went straight in at number 9 on its second release after “Sweet Like Chocolate”.  After finishing her tour, Sharon signed a major publishing deal and now concentrates on songwriting.

Sharon has just done a major deal with Burger King as her co-written song "Running On Sunshine" is snapped up by Burger King to be the music for their new tv adverts featuring the new

Burger King Hot BBQ Whopper !  The ads will run throughout the UK for the entire Summer !  

Sharon has co-written and recorded a track featured on U.S. & worldwide tv hit Grey's Anatomy !  The song is also featured on 2 Grey's Anatomy soundtrack albums. Also she has a song picked up by HBO and used as a promo for HBO movies.

Sharon also has a co-written track on 2 other major U.S. network shows and one of her tracks has also been used in a campaign for Microsoft in the U.S.  Sharon's co-written track "Running On

Sunshine" which had already been featured on a previous season of Grey's Anatomy, was hand picked by the Executive Producer of the show as one of the top 10 songs to have ever been on Grey's Anatomy and therefore Disney/ABC chose it to feature a second time in the much hyped special episode of "Grey's Anatomy - The Music Event".  Grey's Anatomy - The Music event was extra special because each song was re-recorded by the stars of the show and was a huge ratings success giving the show its best numbers since the season premiere, and standing as the night's No.1 scripted TV show among young adults.

In addition, to coincide with the broadcast of the show, Sharon's song "Running On Sunshine" was released by Disney/ABC as a single and on an album of the songs from the special episode -

Grey's Anatomy - The Music Event Soundtrack.

Only one day after the debut of the "Grey's Anatomy: The Music Event" soundtrack , the album climbed to Number 3 on iTunes, surpassing other TV cast albums, and hit Number 1 on the iTunes

top-selling soundtracks. By the end of the week, the soundtrack was Number 2 on the Billboard Soundtrack Album chart and Number 24 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums Chart.

Sharon co-wrote and recorded lead vocals with Norman Cook on the Fatboy Slim worldwide single/video “Champion Sound” which was also released on the new Fatboy Slim Greatest Hits album (USA version).

In the US, Sharon collaborated with Mathew Knowles’ Music World Entertainment Company on material for his Urban roster (Destiny’s Child, Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and

Mason Road etc.). as well as writing country music in Nashville on several major label projects.

In Europe, Sharon has co-written in Germany with multi-platinum artist/producer Mousse T. Also, Sharon has a track on Sony/BMG artist “Do” (top 10 in Europe). Sharon has also had hit singles with Stereo MC's (2 hit singles and album UK and worldwide), Gudrun (Universal), Zynergy (EMI), and C-Stones (Capitol Records) as well as four new tracks on their new album.   In Asia, Sharon has co-written a single and album track for multi-million selling artist Karen Mok (Sony).

Sharon Woolf has also had a chapter dedicated to her songwriting in the British Academy of Composers & Songwriters new book on the craft of songwriting; “Heart & Soul”, alongside chapters by Holland, Dozier & Holland, Billy Steinberg, Rick Nowels, Guy Chambers, etc., which was published recently to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ivor Novello Awards.
